This week will be better!
I didn’t want to have *nothing* from our June VegCookbook, Everyday Happy Herbivore, to share with you, so early this morning I tried the Lemon Jam Biscuits recipe ’cause I had all of the ingredients on hand (flour, a lemon, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and applesauce). Plus, they were quick to make.
I wouldn’t eat them plain as they don’t have a lot of flavor, and are kinda tough, but they are tasty with jam. Something about the jam brings out their lemony flavor.
