One recipe I made last week that I’ll definitely make again from Wild About Greens is the Kale Salad with Dried Fruits and Nuts. Yum, yum, yum.
This was one of my first “massaged” kale salads, and it was delicious. The combo of the kale, dried cranberries (you can use other kinds of dried fruit), nuts (I used walnuts and pecans), lemon juice, agave nectar + salt and pepper was heaven. Definitely a keeper.
The other recipe I tried and liked last week was the Nutty Chocolate-Banana and Spinach Smoothie. It’s probably not the healthiest green smoothie with the chocolate almond milk and peanut butter in it, but it sure was good. It seems like a delicious way to sneak some greens into a reluctant greens-eater’s dessert.
