It’s time to choose our September VegCookbook! Please cast your vote by Monday, August 27th. I’ll post our pick on Tuesday, August 28th. I’ve posted links to the cookbooks below the poll, in case you want to learn more about them.
Chloe’s Kitchen: 125 Easy, Delicious Recipes for Making the Food You Love the Vegan Way by Chloe Coscarelli, Miki Duisterhof and Neal D. Barnard
Quick-Fix Vegan: Healthy Homestyle Meals in 30 Minutes or Less by Robin Robertson
Salad Alchemy: 7 Lovely Life-Shifting Salad by Meg Worden
The Vegan Slow Cooker: Simply Set It and Go with 150 Recipes for Intensely Flavorful, Fuss-Free Fare Everyone (Vegan or Not!) Will Devour by Kathy Hester
Full disclosure: The links to the cookbooks, except for Salad Alchemy, are linked to my Amazon Associates Account. If you buy something after clicking on the link, I get a small percentage of the sale, which I will most likely use to buy more books. Also, I know Meg Worden, the author of Salad Alchemy.

I don’t actually have a slow cooker, much as I am intrigued by the idea of getting one and actually know the author of that book. Hmm. Maybe I should change my vote in order to force me to get a slow cooker…I’m certainly happy I finally bought a Vitamix.
I got my copy of Vegan Slow Cooker today, and am liking how she lays our the recipes. She tells you the stuff to prep the night before (mostly chopping), and then what to do the day it cooks (usually just throweverything in the pot). Maybe you should get one for the office! Kathy said that she’d be happy to answer anyone’s questions about slow cookers.
I voted for Chloe’s Kitchen. It’s the only one I currently have of the four, and though I’ve only made a few recipes from it, every one I’ve tried so far has been fantastic, so I’d love an excuse to make some more!
I lied, looking at the covers of the other books I do have some of the others, This just proves I own too many cookbooks, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing!
Vegan Slow Cooker won, but I have Chloe’s Kitchen too, so I’m sure I’ll add it as a poll option again.
I vote for Chloe’s Kitchen also. It is the one I have and I enjoy her recipes and look forward to making more of them.
Hi Marion ~ As I mentioned in my comment to disneyfoodjunkie, I have Cholie’s Kitchen, and would like to cook from it together, so I’m sure I’ll include it on the poll again.
I think the slow cooker book would be much better for late fall/winter days.
