Forks Over Knives Cookbook Recipe Review Round Up

I haven’t received my copy of our November VegCookbook, Forks Over Knives – The Cookbook, yet, so I rounded up a collection of other bloggers’ recipe reviews.

What did you VegCook this week?

  1. I am loving this cookbook. The lentil chili is really good. I did, however, use regular salted Imagine no-chicken broth. The Spanish chickpea stew is also excellent. My 10 year old daughter told me it smelled like eggrolls when I was cooking for it. She even tried some and liked it.

    • HI Caroline,

I’m so glad you’re enjoying the cookbook. I like the sound of a Spanish chickpea stew. Yum.

My copy *still* hasn’t arrived. Boo hoo. I can’t wait to start cooking!

  2. Hi, I’m new here but was impressed with October/Chloe’s Kitchen. I’m going to try and follow along this month with the Forks Over Knives cookbook. So far I’ve made a smoothie and the no-cheese sauce.

    • Welcome, Lydia!

The smoothie and no-cheese sauce on pizza both look fantastic! I shared your post and photos on the VegCookbook club Twitter feed: and on the VegCookbook Club Pinterest Board:

As a blogging coach (what I do for a living), I’d recommend that you turn on the sharing buttons for the bottom of each of your posts, so that it is easier for people to share your posts on social networks (:

      Here’s how:

      1. Go to Layout
      2. Click “edit” on the Blog Post” box
      3. Click the box that says, “Show Share buttons”
      4. Hit save.

  3. Thanks for the tip, Britt! I never would have found theses useful buttons.

  4. Finally got a recipe made~Kale Salad with Maple-Mustard Dressing.

  5. I’m on a soup kick. I made the Cream of Broccoli Soup. Extremely simple and tastes like it cooked all day. I really enjoyed it.
